     This key source of bibliographic information about Canadian crime fiction:

CWC has published eight anthologies of members’ short fiction, a directory of Canadian crime writing (five editions), and two popular cookbooks, Dishes to Die For and Dishes to Die For…Again. These publications are used to highlight and promote you and other Canadian authors — the recipes are good too.

CWC publishes an on-line newsletter strictly for members, with news of CWC activities, industry news, tips, and promotional opportunities.  

 

3. Looking to improve your skills? More Bloody Professional Development 

CWC Workshops are provided prior to the annual national crime-writing conference, Bloody Words..

Speakers and topics are chosen to update authors and writers on important issues in Canada’s book industry. 

These workshops are FREE for members – a huge value!  

Please note that CWC has a strong affiliation with the annual Bloody Words Conference, but the conference is organized independently of CWC, although many of our members participate and attend.
