Geoffrey Huck

Geoffrey Huck teaches in the English Department at York University. He received his Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Chicago and has published academic books and journal articles in that field. He has also worked in publishing, most recently as an executive editor for the University of Chicago Press. As Morty Guggenmoose, he writes comic campus mysteries that masquerade as the memoirs of former graduate student in philology at Life of the Mind University.
