Yolk is a fun, fast-paced, but ultimately suspense-filled novel filled with complex characters and a mystery that unfolds in an exciting way. Adam is a detective with a difference, and you can't help but fall in love with him and his view of the world, as he tries to solve a 20 year old cold case. Jillian, his client, is trying to locate her missing twin sister. This book has an interesting and intriguing perspective mixing the spirit world (and a fear of it) with the work of a private investigator. It also delves into sexuality issues and tries to resolve some related emotions that creep up during relationship challenges. You have to read this book to get a full grasp of the twists and turns that this author attempts to resolve. And do they find the murderer?
