Robert Landori

Born in Hungary and educated in England, France, Switzerland, and Canada, Robert Landori first watched his childhood friends disappear into the maw of the Holocaust, then spent some time in a Soviet Labor Battalion.

After a stint as jazzman Sydney Bechet’s backup drummer, Robert Landori became, for most of his professional life, a senior Public Accountant, Mergers & Acquisitions specialist, and a Trustee in Bankruptcy in the Cayman Islands.

He is also an adventurer whose work led him to travel widely for 20 years throughout South America and the Caribbean, where he came into contact with international financiers, notorious con men, well-known artists, and entertainers… and members of several countries’ intelligence communities.

Robert Landori also developed a highly charged and double-edged relationship with Castro’s Cuba, and was at one time held in solitary confinement for over two months by Fidel’s notorious G2 – the state security apparatus – on trumped-up espionage charges.

He was eventually freed and later became a security consultant.

Robert Landori writes international intrigue and espionage thrillers. He lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
