The RCMP discovers a connection between Santa Barbara attorney Gutierrez and an Alberta drug dealer responsible for the theft of cesium, the radio-active material responsible for the downing of a Mahalo Airlines airplane. The Edmonton RCMP detectives begin an investigation of Loblinski, whom Gutierrez recruited to expand her business into the Western Canadian cocaine market.
